All tours have some flexibility as far as where we go, how long we end up riding etc. Most of these decisions are based on what the client is interested in, what their comfort level and level of physical fitness is, places they may be interested in getting to etc. You will be told approximately how long the ride will take, you will know what you are being charged and you will be made aware of potential scenarios that could change the ride. That being said we typically break out the day rides into 1, 3 or 6 hour rides. Some day trips and all overnight / multi night trips are priced out as custom tours based on where and how long we are going for.

1 hour Backcountry intro tour ($99/per person)

The intro tour covers a wide variety riding conditions including interior boreal forest trails and wide open farm land with expansive views to the south to the Alaska range mountains. The trans-alaska pipeline can also be seen on this tour which starts at our compound located off 5.5 mile Chena Hot Springs road. Snowmachine operation basics, gearing up and safety concerns are all covered prior to the ride. A warm yurt is provided for changing gear, storing extra personal items and for snacking and relaxing once the ride is over.

1 hour backcountry intro ride w/ 1 hour dog sled tour ($189/per person)

Take advantage of our partner business Paws for Adventure (www.pawsforadventure.com) and go for a 1 hour ride behind a 8 or 10 dog team of alaskan huskies then follow it up with the 1 hour backcountry snowmachine tour. Tell us what you like the best about each ride and tell us which one you liked better. The rides all leave from from the same spot off 5.5 mile Chena hot Springs Road.

3 hour ($225/per person) and 6 hour ($325/per person) day rides are available departing from the Mile 5.5 Chena Hot Springs location. These rides will explore the hills and valleys of the Chena River including the Chena RIver itself, the alaska pipeline and the Yukon Quest International Sled Dog Race trail. Some of the most popular day rides includes stops at Two Rivers Lodge (www.tworiverslodge.com) or Angel Creek Lodge (www.angelcreeklodge.com).

6 hour day rides to a variety of interior locations such as the 1,000,000 acre White Mountain National Recreation Area, further stretches of the Yukon Quest trail or the Tanana River and its flatlands are also available. These rides are priced similarily to the 6 hour ride with a little extra added in to cover trailering the machines to the trailhead.
