Alaska Iron Dog Adventures is located an easy 15 minute drive from downtown Fairbanks at 3 Mile Chena Hot Springs road. Transportation from downtown can be arranged for a cost of $30/pp if arranged in advance. Our base includes the Paws for Adventure Sled Dog Kennel and includes sweeping views of the Chena and Tanana river valleys with the mountains of the Alaska Range as a backdrop.

Take the Steese Highway north out of Fairbanks to the Chena Hot Springs road exit, take a right on Chena Hot Springs road and look for the 3 mile marker on your right as you climb the hill through the wide open farm field. Take the right immediately after the 3 mile marker and wind your way through the farm field staying to the right at all intersections until you wrap around the trees and arrive at the Paws for Adventure Kennel site with its distinctive round yurt.
