Alaska Iron Dog Adventures is North on Steese Hwy to Chena Hot Springs Rd., take a right off exit and go 5.5 miles to Herning Rd.(watch for little green mile markers), take a right on Herning Rd. (see blue DOT directional sign before turn). Go approximately 3/4 miles to near end of Herning Road - see Paws for Adventure & Alaska Iron Dog Adventures signs on the right at gate (across the street from George Rd.) Take a right and travel down the hill to kennel area, keep going straight ahead (approx. 1/4 mileto kennel); - 4 WD vehicle suggested, no busses beyond the gate.
