Us Dave Williams is the
guide/owner of Alaska Iron Dog Adventures. He has been kicking around the intetrior
of Alaska for over 25 years. Three years ago he started Iron Dog Adventures to
share his love of riding and exploring Alaska by snowmachine. Give Dave a call

Iron Dog Adventures is North on Steese Hwy to Chena Hot Springs Rd., take
a right off exit and go 5.5 miles to Herning Rd.(watch for little green mile markers),
take a right on Herning Rd. (see blue DOT directional sign before turn). Go approximately
3/4 miles to near end of Herning Road - see Paws for Adventure & Alaska Iron
Dog Adventures signs on the right at gate (across the street from George Rd.)
Take a right and travel down the hill to kennel area, keep going straight ahead
(approx. 1/4 mileto kennel); - 4 WD vehicle suggested, no busses beyond the gate.
Iron Dog Adventures uses late model snow machines for its tours
and has helmets and arctic gear available to ensure a safe and comfortable ride.
Our experienced guides will step you through getting geared up, take you through
the snow machine operation as needed and lead you on a tour of your choice. We
provide a heated yurt for snacking, gear changing and lounging after your tour
to absorb the atmosphere and mountain views.
